About Us
Ricardo Casas, CEO
After turning the wheels of corporate marketing firms for over ten years, Ricardo decided to provide internet marketing more intimately and effectively by founding Fahrenheit Marketing, LLC. Integrity and quality define his business parameters, allowing him to offer his clients excellent strategy, development and solutions for online visibility and conversion. As a fellow business owner, Ricardo is empathetic to the needs of your own business and he knows how to make SEO marketing work to your advantage, no matter your profession’s specialty or your company’s size.
Ricardo moved to Austin from Santa Catarina, Brazil in 1998. He attended the Business School of Blumenau (FURB-Brazil), later receiving a B.F.A. from Texas State University, San Marcos. He fell in love with this Texas haven while falling in love with his wife, whom he now cherishes along with his two sons and newborn daughter.
Ricardo is personally and fundamentally involved in every Fahrenheit campaign, literally bursting into enthusiastic laughter (and infectiously rousing smiles from surrounding coworkers) every time a client’s investment proves successful, which happens quite often.
Laurel Casas, President
Laurel represents the pure Austinite, born and raised in this weird, yet, lovely city. A versatile professional, she boasts extensive experience in public relations, copywriting and project management. She directly contributes to each employee’s performance with encouragement and organizational advice, doubling roles as the human resources manager.
As a professional and a mother of three, she knows how to balance time and priority. Family and human connection illustrate her prerogatives, and she brings that compassion and awareness to your campaign, picking out your unique customer base and giving them the humane rapport they crave.
Laurel contributes a portfolio of statewide campaigns to Fahrenheit; these widespread operations have given her the perspective and knowledge to make your business a household name.
Kelly May, Marketing Consultant
Kelly lends an invaluable expertise to Fahrenheit, building marketing strategies which genuinely result in high conversion rates and extreme returns on investment. After working in sales for much larger corporations, he joined the ranks of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) consultants 3 years ago. Kelly specialized in working with small- and medium-sized companies for the past 6 years. In that time, he’s witnessed many intelligent, qualified business owners throwing their money away on ineffective, unproven SEO and SEM products that are designed to benefit the agency only, and he’s helped those business owners turn their strategy and results around. With enthusiasm, he joined Fahrenheit to blend his talent with his integrity, and he’s excited to bring your campaign to new internet heights.
A native Texan, Kelly graduated from Texas State University with a mass communication major and media studies minor. Born and raised in Dallas, he moved to Austin with his wife, daughter and son to enjoy the Texas capitol’s parks, lakes, festivals and culture. He’s proud to live in the same city as the Zilker Zypher Miniature Train.
Mike Ebrahimi, Internet Marketing Specialist & Web Developer
Mike joined Fahrenheit Marketing preemptively prepared with an extensive web development resume. He’s pursued internet marketing in the Austin area for almost 5 years, offering consultations to small local businesses, in addition to spending 2 years cofounding a start-up company. After studying engineering in Iran, he moved to Austin to pursue his career in website marketing and has been greatly successful in various consulting positions, bringing insight from a technical perspective.
Mike relishes the opportunities which Fahrenheit allows him. He enthusiastically looks forward to exponential expansion, both for Fahrenheit and for each client’s customer base. He understands the high demand for online marketing, and he delivers quality work to the best of his (extreme and exceptional) ability.
After exploring many U.S. cities, Mike eventually settled on Austin because it offers the most invigorating internet marketing growth. In his free time, he keeps his creative and technical mentalities active with advanced programming, remote-controlled airplanes and photography.
Meredi Wagner-Hoehn, Copywriter
Meredi contributes with objective observations and editorial eyes to Fahrenheit Marketing. Her written word repertoire includes news articles, lively features, opinion pieces, case studies, academic theses and, of course, persuasive advertisements. A native Austinite, Meredi oddly chose to leave the state for her college years at University of North Carolina in Asheville. However, after gathering up her B.A. in mass communication and Spanish, she scurried back to her hometown. She resided in Mexico for a few years as a child, adding yet another global viewpoint to the intercultural Texans of Fahrenheit.
Meredi relishes using her versatile background to provide pertinent content in whichever capacity client’s marketing needs, whether it’s contributing casual commentary, relevant reviews, academic articles or educational erudition on your website or inbound links. She passionately enjoys soaking up the Austin music scene with her actor boyfriend and huckleberry hound (two separate individuals).
Michael Hoffmann, Copywriter
Michael brings over eight years of hawk-eye editing experience to Fahrenheit. After an extended stint in educational publishing and a briefer stay in the financial sector, he is eager to share his passion for writing with the vast online audience. His journalism degree from Texas A&M University affords him to pursue his creative side, which he will happily share on your website in any function desired.
Born in Chicago but raised in San Antonio, Michael has found his niche in Austin, given his keen interest in varied sporting events, concerts, and enjoying time with his large consortion of friends. When not partaking in one or all of the above, you will probably find him jogging around different areas of the city. Being an Aggie in Longhorn territory may not always be easy, but he is definitely up to the challenge.
