Step #1: Research & Analysis
During the research and analysis stage, we perform the following activities:
- Meet with and interview clients to discover user and business needs
- Research industry competitor websites
- Review historical analytics data (visitors, traffic sources, content engagement, user pathways, ROI conversion)
- Review historical data from pay-per-click, contextual advertising, organic SEO and social media campaigns
Step #2: Design Framework & Concepting
Deliverables during this phase might include:
- High level navigation framework
- High level site maps and user flows
- Concept prototyping (pen & paper sketches or low fidelity wireframes)
- Brainstorm color palette and look-and-feel
- Design comps of representative homepage and interior page templates
Step #3: Deployment & Implementation
- Ongoing Split A/B and multivariate testing with variations in graphics, text, color and formatting.
- Optimize navigation, content, graphics and user interface to achieve higher conversion rates based on test results
