How a Like Helps a Firefighter

Fahrenheit Marketing in Design
You know what it means to get a “like” on Facebook. You feel special, plus your status or post is shown to more of your friends. If your Facebook business page gets more likes, more of your customers’ friends hear about your business, which guides them to your doors.

This is one reason why we help our clients grow their Facebook fan base by asking their customers to “like” them. These days, the likes aren’t just helping our clients, but also others in need.

For instance, one of our clients, the Lakeway Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, is now pursuing a campaign benefitting the Lake Travis Fire Rescue. During the campaign, the Lakeway Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry will be donating $1 to the Fire Rescue for every like the the Lakeway Center Facebook page receives. If customers like the page, they not only help promote their dentist, but also provide heroic firefighters with much needed, non-budgeted equipment and other items.

“The men and women who fight fires as part of the Lake Travis Fire Rescue are heroes,” said Dr. Robert D’Alfonso, lead cosmetic dentist at Lakeway Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. “They risk their life so they can protect us and our property. They deserve our support in any way we can give it. This is just one of the ways we can show our gratitude.”

Each of our clients participating in this promotion chose their charities and are excited to give them their support. Some of the other organizations our clients are donating to include the Arc of Fort Bend County, which assists individuals with disabilities, the San Antonio Food Bank, which provides much-needed meals to families and individuals, and the Mercer Arboretum, which keeps natural history alive in Houston.

We are proud of our clients reaching out to those in need in their communities, and are eager to see how much we can raise for these charities. If you would like to learn more about our online marketing strategies and Austin web design, contact Fahrenheit Marketing today.
