This past Monday, three members of the Fahrenheit team—Ricardo, Garrett and Julianne—took a trip over to Houston to meet with Dr. Louis Bosse of Greenspoint Dental and Dr. Lance Jue of A Beautiful Smile at Lake Pointe.
For Garrett, our account manager, it was his first time in Houston. Garrett was raised in North Carolina, lived for a couple years in Seoul, South Korea and just recently moved to Texas. He was brought onboard the Fahrenheit team only a few weeks ago and is making the rounds to meet all of Fahrenheit’s clients.
Our public relations guru Julianne is also new to Fahrenheit. Like Garrett, she is also taking time to meet face-to-face with our clients. Julianne is originally from Amarillo, Texas and graduated a year ago from UT with a degree in Public Relations.
According to Julianne, the day in Houston was enjoyable. She snapped some great photos of the dentists’ offices, talked at length with the dentists themselves and learned a lot about their practices. She also reported that they were able to take a peek inside the new med spa that Dr. Jue is building at A Beautiful Smile. Photos are forthcoming.
Though a good day, it was also a long day. There were countless traffic jams (welcome to Houston, Garrett!) and the drive back to Austin on Monday evening took longer than it should have. Apparently, Ricardo also refused to stop for lunch until 6PM, at which point, Julianne says, the meal could no longer be considered lunch.
Around 10PM the group arrived back at the Fahrenheit office where the rest of the team was busy working away, volunteering their free time to monitor social media channels, develop Dr. Rudy Izzard’s new site and redesign ALK’s logo. (Just kidding… but seriously, here’s a big round of applause for Ricardo, Julianne and Garrett for pulling a 14-hour day).
